A banger that pushes others to celebrate their wins!
Dot Cromwell - "CO$T (feat. BaRii)"

On his newest track “CO$T,” Dot Cromwell proposes a celebratory toast to his ongoing success — but knows there’s a whole lot more coming his way.

The Philly-based rapper has much to celebrate; he just landed his first TV sync with his song “Aura,” featured on Abbott Elementary’s season 3 finale. He’s ready to indulge in the lavishes his career has brought him, and his producer/collaborator, BARii, asks the question on Cromwell’s mind: “How much does that cost?”

“Anybody saying money doesn’t matter / Never ever ever had enough,” Cromwell raps over a dynamic, snappy string bass beat. His playful and clever wordplay allows his confidence to shine through as he fantasizes over riches. Early but eager in his career, he’s here to prove that nothing, or no one, will stop him — “She tried to tell it’s the root of evil / Bitch well I’m the devil if it’s added up.”

BARii’s catchy and supportive chorus solidifies the duo’s seriousness about success: “I did not come here to play,” he adamantly states. His bars are clean, and the instrumentals are simple yet catchy — his collaboration with Cromwell prevails once again.

As his music takes off, Cromwell wants his base to know that he’ll rep his Philly roots no matter what. “This s**t is crazy, I'm just from the block,” he insists. As he continues to create and watch his music grow globally, he wants to remain level-headed and know his worth when it comes to stingy labels and cheap routes to fame. But for now, he celebrates. “Before I kill’em all, let’s make a toast.”
