BIZZY's new single "When It Ends" relates to all twenty-something in every aspect. Voicing the doubts and worries of a person entering their "adulting" era, the Big Loud Rock artists' melancholic alternative pop offering is comprised of introspective lyrics that are vulnerable to the core.
"When It Ends" touches on the pressure behind having it all together. From BIZZY's perspective, she wonders if her loved ones will be her anchor while she figures out how to sail through this new phase in her life.
"I'm trying my best/Do you see it?" she sings in the chorus. "If it all goes to s**t/And then I lose my grip/Will you stay and will you hold me right through it?"
Deeper into "When It Ends," BIZZY attempts to keep her spirits high, crooning, "I'll keep telling myself/That this life is for good/Even though it’s a lie."
Although the singer might feel her whole world crashing down along the way, BIZZY is finding a way to piece it all together. She asks again for reassurance from her closest peeps, hoping that they'll catch her if she falls.
"Oh I might cry/Just tryna stay alive," BIZZY delivers. "Feels like do or die/Will you be by my side?"
"Sometimes, when things seem to be going well from an outside perspective, I find myself grappling with the overwhelming fear that all I’ve worked so hard for may vanish," BIZZY reveals about her new single. "'When It Ends' is the fearful whisper to my loved ones, asking them if I loosen my white knuckle grip and things hit the fan, will they still be there for me at the end?"
"When It Ends" follows BIZZY's debut EP, I Don't Get Breakups.
